CBA Online Student Orientation: Embracing a Global Learning Community
Intro
In an era where technology has become an integral part of education, Cornerstone Bible Academy took a significant step forward by conducting its new student orientation via Zoom. This innovative approach not only embraced the convenience of virtual platforms but also brought together a diverse group of over 60 students from seven different countries – Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Namibia, Rwanda, Uganda, and Zambia.
Dr Douglas Mudimba, spearheaded the virtual orientation session, setting the stage for a transformative educational journey. As the virtual meeting unfolded, attendees were not only introduced to the core principles of the program but also got to know the dedicated staff members and Student Representatives who will play pivotal roles throughout the three-year course.
Welcome Remarks
Dr Mudimba's warm and welcoming presence filled the digital space as he greeted students from various corners of Africa. He emphasized the significance of this virtual gathering, highlighting how technology breaks down geographical barriers and allows for a truly global educational experience.
Introduction of Staff
During the orientation, Dr Mudimba introduced the passionate and qualified members of the CBA staff. These educators and administrators will be instrumental in guiding students through their academic journey and providing support for administrative tasks. This global representation not only enriches the learning experience by fostering cultural diversity but also underscores CBA's commitment to providing quality education to students across borders.
