Message from the Chancellor: Dear Prospective Student
There are more than 2 million Pastoral Leaders in Africa, who lack essential basic ministry training; yet the zeal and calling is so evident in their lives.
As you may know, a call does not educate a man; the tragedy of the African church has been described as that of building a church 50km long but one inch deep. This alludes to our famed numerical growth, which happens not to be proportionate with our pace of mature leadership development.
CBA comes on the Biblical Educational Scene, to fill in the gap of preparing Ministers and laborers for the Kingdom. Our institutional philosophy seeks to define its distinction, by redressing pivotal disparities in ministry training observed in years. Commendable effort already exists in the Evangelical world in this regard. The weaknesses, however, range from creating myopic ministers who are only capable of functioning in a particular religious tradition; to reproducing Biblical Academic dissidents, who qualify for impressive pulpiteers but are not pioneers.
Our college seeks to be a nerve center for the accomplishment of the Great Commission by producing a crop of students who are both informed and anointed, possessing the competency to execute their assignment globally, transculturally, and transdenominationally.
It remains true that the only way you can learn to swim is not by reading a book only but getting in water. Our training integrates a hands - on approach to ministry that constitutes your church practicum grades. Our program is tailored to produce visionary leadership and inspired ministers who see the bigger picture about Divine Service.
We have also engaged the services and experience of Kingdom Trailblazers, mainly featured in our monthly ministry input week. The plurality of these ministries gives us the much - needed balance, thereby producing the correct texture in us of New Testament Ministers.
Your Biblical Education remains your greatest investment, as the saying goes, 'The Mind of Man, Stretched by a New Idea, will never return back to its original dimension.' Welcome to the club of them who see the invisible.
